"My Central Texas ranch has about a half mile of asphalt paving badly in need of repairs. I purchased a 10 gallon kettle-applicator for asphalt crackfilling and found it to be a well designed and rugged unit - definitely worth the money. It melts the rubberized crack sealant and applies it smoothly. After consulting with them, I found that filling larger cracks with all purpose sand before topping it with hot rubberized crackfiller is economical and efficient. The kettle-applicator is easy to use, though a beginner should expect to spend an hour or so learning how to use it efficiently. For my needs, AK recommended the AK2200 sealcoating spray system. This is an economical unit designed to apply an even coat of asphalt emulsion sealer that I also bought from AsphaltKingdom.com. He provided detailed setup instructions with pictures. This is a relatively simple unit for a beginner to set up and operate, and it can be stored in a small space when not in use. I recommend Asphalt Kingdom to others who are interested in maintaining their own asphalt roads or those interested in setting up a small asphalt maintenance business. AK does what they promise."

"We love the new Crack Seal Machine. My husband Mike is using it daily and will be using until the weather gets bad. Mike never once had to wait for the crack seal to be at temperature. The flame never went out ever! He loves the agitated handle too. Like I said he loves it. The wheels help to by having two front and two back. When he puts the crack seal down the scrapper/squeegie spreads it out perfectly to the asphalt. Like I said he loves it. One problem is that when in puts the box of crack seal in the tank the tank is short so he has to put it sideways which is no big deal. We have paid for this machine many times already because of the fast production it is putting out. Oh yeah the temperature gage cover was a perfect idea because loading it etc. keeps it safe from damage. I sure hope you understand what I am saying.
